ISPM-15 is the international export standard
ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is required by 190+ countries to prevent pest transfer via wood packaging material. Any pallet crossing an international border from Florida must be heat-treated (or fumigated with methyl bromide) at an IPPC-accredited facility and carry the IPPC stamp with country code (US), facility identifier, treatment code (HT), and DB. Non-compliant shipments are rejected at destination customs.
Florida ISPM-15 process
FPS routes Florida ISPM-15 orders through IPPC-accredited kiln facilities meeting ALSC (American Lumber Standard Committee) registry standards. Every load ships with heat-treatment certificate, IPPC-stamp lot number, kiln facility ID, treatment date/time log (kiln core reached 56C/133F for minimum 30 minutes per ISPM-15 spec), and BOL identifying the treatment facility. Available for customs + audit at destination.
